Jacob Rogers, 37, of Kensington, hasn't spoken to his family since Thanksgiving.

The man told his family that he planned to take a train from 30th Street Station to Charleston, West Virginia on Friday, Nov. 27, at 8:15 a.m.

Rogers, of the 2000 block of E. Madison St., wasn't on that train, police said.

He was supposed to arrive in Charleston at 9 p.m. that night, police said, but never arrived.

In fact, law enforcement officials said, there's no evidence that Rogers ever picked up the ticket for that train ride.

Moreover, Rogers' cell phone is not in service and there has been no activity on Rogers' bank account since the day before Thanksgiving.

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia police released a photo of the missing man and a description: about 6-foot, one-inch tall, about 185 lbs., with blonde hair and blue eyes.

According to police, he also has a pierced right eyebrow, pierced left ear and a small beard with "soul patch," but police do not know what Rogers was wearing at the time he went missing.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Jacob Rogers is asked to contact East Detective Division at 215-686-3243 or call 911.
