Police seek suspect in school burglary; $5,000 in electronics taken

Officials say suspect entered Summerdale school through front window

Philadelphia police are seeking a suspect in the Sept. 7 of St. Martin of Tours School located at 5701 Loretto Avenue.

Philadelphia police are seeking assistance from the public to locate and identify a suspect who burglarized Saint Martin of Tours school in Summerdale on Labor Day, stealing more than $5,000 in laptops and computer equipment.

According to police, the suspect entered the school, located at 5701 Loretto Avenue, through a front window. 

The Northwest Detective Division released a security video of the suspect exiting the school with the stolen electronics.



The suspect is described as a white male, 18-22 years old, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black pants, black hat and white shoes.
