Police: Two teens shot by drive-by gunmen in Grays Ferry

Investigation underway after victims taken to area hospitals

Philadelphia police are investigating after two teenagers were targeted in a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon in the Grays Ferry section of South Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 5:55 p.m. near the intersection of 31st and Tasker streets, NBC 10 reports.

Police said the male victims, 15 and 17 years old, were shot by at least two masked gunmen who pulled up in a white sedan and opened fire.

The 15-year-old boy sustained gunshot wounds to the left abdomen and right foot. He was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to be treated for his injuries and was listed in critical condition.

The 17-year-old victim was hit in the left calf and left arm and was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests in the shootings.
