Police: Vandals climb 200-foot tall Dorney Park ride, steal flag

These suspects climbed nearly 200 feet to steal a flag from the top of a ride at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, police say.

Police are seeking the public's help finding four people who broke into an Allentown amusement park and went on a daring climb to steal a flag.

Authorities say the vandals -- two men and two females -- trespassed at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom on Jan. 31.

Once inside the park, they climbed the Dominator ride, which is nearly 200 feet tall. After reaching the top they stole a small blue and white Dorney Park flag.

Surveillance photos released by police show the suspects who committed the dangerous crime.

Dorney Park has run into some recent controversy after new testing requirements ousted a 13-year employee with special needs.

The man was rehired after many reacted negatively to the story on social media.

Anyone with information on the suspects in the theft is asked to call police at 610-398-0337. Police also ask that if you know who they are not to identify them on social media.
