Employment rates are looking good, so if you're on the hunt for your first job or a new gig, the time is right. Women-only co-working space The Hive is hosting a series of workshops to help those on the prowl get a leg up on the competition. Senior career adviser Samantha Munsch will teach three different classes on the first Mondays in March, April and May.

Tonight, Monday, March 9, the "Rock Your Resume" workshop will focus on - what else - polishing that all-important document. Bring yours in for tips on creating a scannable resume and highlighting your skills and expertise. Each participant will get 10 minutes of one-on-one time with Munsch.

Monday, April 6, Munsch will prepare participants for all the hard questions one could be asked using mock interviews. Attendees will learn the art of a great answer, like turning your negatives into positives and minimizing weaknesses.

Monday, May 4, she will teach participants to utilize professional networking site LinkedIn to its full potential. Recruiters love to use the site, so learning how to show off your personal brand and find a new home for your skill set is key.

Each session is limited to just 10 people, so make sure to register before the series fills up.
