One of last night's headline-grabbing Golden Globe winners is now available to see for free -- assuming you're a Philadelphia student.

Courtesy of a coalition of African-American business leaders in New York, a national campaign to convince businesses to underwrite screenings of "Selma" has made its way to Philadelphia.

Through Jan. 19, showing a student ID or report card at any of the participating theaters will nab students a free ticket to see "Selma." According to the release, 10,000 tickets will be made available in Philadelphia.

The New York version of the program has offered up 75,000 tickets, having sold out of its initial round of tickets (27,000) in the first weekend.

“Our goal was to educate as many children as we could about the historical importance and contemporary relevance of the march in Selma,” Bill Lewis, co-chairman of investment banking at Lazard, said in a press release. “Seeing so many business leaders in other cities join this spontaneous initiative is a wonderful outcome for the children and for our country.”
