Ex-punter Steve 'along for the ride' Weatherford still running his mouth from unemployment line

Steve Weatherford wants to still be relevant in his post-football life.

Remember that time former Giants punter Steve Weatherford talked trash about the Eagles on a New York radio station, then backtracked like a coward when Eagles players got wind of it

Yeah, that was fun.

Welp, Weatherford is now out of the league and still running his mouth. In September the Giants didn't just cut Weatherford. They felt like he needed to be replaced badly enough that they traded a draft pick for a punter to replace him. Now that he can't take the field anymore because he's no longer good enough to be on an NFL roster, Weatherford is trying to stay relevant. First he posted a picture of his old jersey on the Rocky statue for some reason. (My guess is that literally zero onlookers knew whose jersey it was). And then he flexed his beer muscles on Twitter:

Weatherford is of course noting that the Eagles don't have any Super Bowl banners, because, breaking, the Eagles have never won a championship in the Super Bowl era.

Of course, Weatherford won a Super Bowl with the Giants in the same way the "best boy grip" on The Godfather was involved in their Oscar win. I mean... Clearly, this is guy who should be running his mouth:

It's Eagles-Giants day!
