Police: Autistic teen found bound, bruised in West Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating after an autistic teenager was found bound and bruised in the cold between a pair of West Philadelphia row homes.

At around 11 a.m. Sunday, authorities responded to call for help at 41st and Ogden streets in the Mantua section of the city.

Investigators said the 16-year-old boy, who lives nearby the scene, had been bound by the feet and had bruises on his wrists.

The victim was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to be treated for his injuries. He was listed in stable condition.

An investigation by the Special Victims Unit of the Philadelphia Police Department remains ongoing.
