People Magazine reports confirmation actor has entered rehab following June 12 DUI

About a month after a DUI arrest and hospitalization in Beverly Hills, actor John Stamos has reportedly checked into a rehab facility to be treated for substance abuse.

The report came exclusively from People on Friday night, a confirmation only without additional details.

Following the DUI incident, Stamos, 51, tweeted the following message: "Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care."

A court appearance for the June citation is scheduled for September 11, 2015 at the LAX Courthouse.

Stamos, best known for his role as Jesse in the 1990s sitcom 'Full House,' is among multiple original cast members slated to appear in the Netflix remake 'Fuller House,' set to premiere in 2016.
