Earlier this week, in the wake of wide receiver Nelson Agholor's continued struggles, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he needed to see how Agholor would respond to adversity during the week of practices.

"I've just got to see from his standpoint how he handles this week," Pederson said. "This will be a big week for him. How he handles it mentally, how he reacts with his teammate and how he reacts on the practice field with the things that have sort of fallen in his lap. It's just about how well he responds and if he can handle a little adversity in his career."

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Eagles plan on limiting Agholor's snaps, and may even include him among their seven inactive players.

That could also mean more snaps for Dorial Green-Beckham and Bryce Treggs when the Eagles leave Matthews in the slot.

Turner led the NFL in preseason receptions, showing great hands, something Eagles receiver have lacked over the last two years. However, Turner is small, not particularly fast, and wasn't a heavy contributor on special teams. As a result, the Eagles have been slow to give him a shot at playing.

Agholor will lose snaps at an inopportune time, as the Packers are allowing 8.6 yards per pass attempt, by far the worst in the NFL.

UPDATE: According to Howard Eskin, Agholor will indeed be inactive against the Packers.
