Reports: Two freight trains collide in Delco; four injured

Authorities are investigating a crash Friday between two freight trains in Delaware County, according to multiple media reports.

NBC10 reports the crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Green and Felton streets in Chester Township.

Four people were injured and two were taken to Crozer Chester Hospital, the news station reports. Their conditions are unknown.

After the head-on collision between two CSX locomotives, fuel was reportedly leaking out of one of the trains, according to Philly.com.

A CSX spokesperson told the website there were no reports of hazardous materials on either train.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
