We know, we know. It's certainly no Wawa free coffee deal.

But hey, free coffee is free coffee, right? And for Philadelphians travelling to friends and relatives outside the friendly confines of the Delaware Valley this holiday season, you can snag a deal at the other gas station and convenience store chain.

Sheetz is offering free coffee to customers on Christmas Day from midnight to midnight, and on New Year’s Eve starting at 4 p.m. until New Year’s Day at 4 p.m.

It's pretty simple: Just walk into any of Sheetz's 564 stores and you get a free cup of joe. The deal is actually a 20-year tradition for Sheetz.

"Offering free coffee during the holidays is our way of saying thank you to the communities we serve," Ryan Sheetz, AVP of Brand Strategies, said in a new release.

Customers will have the option at checkout of donating to Sheetz For The Kidz, an employee-run charity that provides toys, clothes and other needs to kids in the states where Sheetz stores are located: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio and Maryland.

You can check to see if there's a Sheetz along your holiday route using the company's store locator here. (Oh, and if you'd prefer to pay for Wawa coffee while driving on Christmas or New Year's, you can find all the Wawa locations here.)
