A NJ Transit bus driver was fatally shot at a bus garage on Route 42 in Washington Township, Gloucester County.

"It was not a random act," said spokeswoman Nancy Snyder of the 1:30 p.m. killing.

She added while the maintenance garage is shut down, there have been no delays in bus service.

Transit police are searching for the shooter, Snyder said.
