Simone Biles coming to Free Library of Philadelphia

Snag a selfie with the Olympic gold medal winner

Simone Biles will be at the Free Library of Philadelphia on Friday, Jan. 6, to promote her new book "Courage to Soar: A Body in Motion, A Life in Balance."

The "Final Five" U.S. female gymnast member has a slew of accomplishments under her belt. Biles is the most decorated American gymnast.

With four Olympic gold medals, Biles also set an American record for most gold medals in women’s gymnastics at a single Olympic Games.

In "Courage to Soar," Biles recounts the trials, tumbles and triumphs that led her from an early childhood in foster care to the heights of Olympic victory.

At the Free Library event, Biles will discuss her book with Tracey Matisak. After, Biles will autograph books for attendees.

Here are some of the guidelines to know beforehand:

• Biles will only sign books that have been purchased at the library.
• Each purchaser will be given a wristband at the point of purchase.
• Selfies will be permitted when passing the signing table, but there will not be time for posed photos.

The event is free to attend, and no registration is required.
