Through January, SkyGarten will become SkyLodge. The beer garden in the sky will move away from its German theme and embrace all the coziness of a ski lodge resort.

The décor has been updated to include mounted antlers, tons of plaid, vintage skis, toboggans and other decorative items reminiscent of a picturesque mountain cabin.

Even the staff's attire has been changed. They will all wear black and red plaid.

There's no space for a real fire, but a crackling fireplace will be projected onto the wall.

To warm you from the inside out, the popular spiked hot chocolate bar will remain, along with a ski shot ($20 for four people) and other winter drinks like mulled wine and hot cider.

As for food, the SkyLodge menu includes bourbon wings, a bacon and brie burger, chicken and waffles, beef stew and poutine.

The bar, located on the 51st floor of Top of the Tower, is open Wednesdays through Saturdays.
