Statistical proof that the Eagles are balling

Even if you've never watched a football game in your life, and you plunked yourself down in front of a TV for the Philadelphia Eagles' first two games against the Cleveland Browns and the Chicago Bears, it's pretty easy to see that they're balling.

And guess what? There's statistical proof to back it up! Here are a whole slew of statistical categories where the Eagles rank in the top 10 in the NFL:

Philadelphia Eagles Stat NFL Rank
Point differential +34 1
Turnover differential +4 3
Time of possession 37:42 1
Points per game scored 29 8
First downs per game 22 10
Total defense (points per game) 12 2
Total defense (yards per game) 286 4
First downs allowed per game 15 4
Third down percentage allowed 30% 7
Forced fumbles 4 T-4
Passing yards allowed per game 194 5
Passing TDs allowed 0 T-1
Interceptions 2 T-6
Pass plays of 20+ yards allowed 5 T-7
Sacks 6 7
Opposing QB rating 69.1 4
Rushing yards per game allowed 92 10
Wins 2 T-1

Yes, yes, I know -- It's (A) a small sample size, and (B) against two weaker opponents, but it's pretty hard to imagine a better start to the Eagles' season.
