Suburban Station evacuated after fire

A SEPTA golf cart caught fire in the concourse of Suburban Station Sunday morning, 6 ABC reports. Smoke from the flames caused the temporary suspension of regional rail service and an evacuation of the station.




Philly.com reports that train service resumed around 10:30 a.m. 


Commuters experienced delays of up to an hour as a result. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
