Franklin Square isn't letting go of summer without a fight. The family-friendly park will host Summer Festivus this Thursday evening, Aug. 20, to take advantage of these final summer days.

The Festivus will include food trucks all around from which guests can purchase a snack or meal, plus a beer garden that will be pouring summer ales beginning at 5 p.m. Starr Restaurants' SquareBurger will remain open through the event, plus Frankford Hall will get in on the action by bringing a pop-up atmosphere complete with Adirondack chairs and fancy lights.

Though admission to the party is free, the Philly Mini Golf and the Parx Liberty Carousel will still require paid tickets.
