WATCH: Suspect sprays employee with Mace, steals cigarettes, police say

Police are looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted in connection with multiple commercial robberies in Logan Circle.

Philadelphia police are requesting the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with multiple commercial robberies in Logan Circle.

In surveillance video released by police Tuesday, an unknown male suspect can be seen entering a 7-Eleven at 2200 Market St. on Aug. 18 at 3:35 a.m.

He is seen asking for cigarettes. When the employee bags the items and requests payment, the suspect pulls a can of Mace from his right shorts pocket and sprays the employee in the face, police say. According to authorities, he then flees the store with the cigarettes, valued at $62.

Police say the suspect was also caught on surveillance video robbing a 7-Eleven at 1 Franklintown Blvd. in a similar fashion on Aug. 19. 

Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old black male with a slim build who is around 6 feet tall with a 2-inch Afro cut short on the sides.
