Police say a driver crashed an SUV into a rowhome in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia early Thursday morning and fled the scene shortly after.
The accident happened around 3 a.m. on the 4400 block of N. 18th St., authorities said.
Officials say people were home at the time of the incident, but no residents were reported injured. CBSPhilly reports that the crash caused a large pipe to burst and L&I officials will need to inspect the structural condition of the home.
Police are searching for the driver, who left the scene on foot before they arrived.
