WATCH: Jahlil Okafor helps girl dunk, stuffs young fan

Rookie center had some fun at Sixers' annual Beach Bash

A scouting report for rookie Sixers center Jahlil Okafor Saturday would highlight his teamwork as well as his defensive abilities.

Granted, his competition wasn't quite NBA caliber. The team was at Jack's Place in Avalon, New Jersey for their annual Beach Bash, where fans could meet players and win prizes in anticipation of the upcoming season.

During the festivities, Okafor made two plays involving a couple of little fans. First, he assisted a girl get to the rim for a slam dunk.

Cute, right? Well, Okafor couldn't hold back his competitive spirit much longer. When another little fan went up for a shot, the third overall pick shut him down.

Okafor, who comes to Philadelphia after one season at Duke, seems to be enjoying his time with the Philadelphia fans so far.

If he can become a franchise cornerstone for the team like the fans hope he will, the mutual love should continue.
