WATCH: Man uses 'electronic device' to unlock, steal from vehicle in Fishtown

The Philadelphia Police are hoping the public can help identify this man, who police say, used some sort of electronic device to unlock, and steal from, a parked vehicle in Fishtown.

The Philadelphia Police are hoping the public can help identify a man who was captured on surveillance video, on Christmas Eve, using some sort of electronic device to unlock a car in Fishtown, before stealing from the vehicle. 

According to police, the incident happened on Dec. 24 at about 10:39 p.m., when a man, described as white or Hispanic with a mustache, was captured on surveillance video while he was using an unknown electronic device to gain entry into a vehicle on the 1200 block of East Oxford Avenue. 

As seen in the video, he walks up and down the block, while tapping a small device that he holds aloft in his left hand, until a car unlocks.

Police said that once he was inside the vehicle the man, who wore a baseball cap, light colored shirt, jeans and dark colored sneakers on the night of the incident, took $60, lottery tickets, and a phone charger then fled in an unknown direction.
