Rookie Eagles head coach Doug Pederson got the full mic'd up treatment for his debut against the Cleveland Browns, a win that showed promise for his young quarterback Carson Wentz as well as himself.
In his first NFL mic'd up video, as Rob Tornoe of Philly.com pointed out, Pederson comes off as nearly the polar opposite of Chip Kelly, who was canned after the second-to-last game of the season last year before joining the 49ers as head coach: taking play-calling suggestions from a player is something Chip likely would never have done.

But more than that, Doug comes off as the lovable, goofy dad who coached your intramural grade-school soccer team. From the unbridled joy after his team scores ("TOUCHDOWN!" at 5:18), to the slight and occasional confusion ("somewhere I got the play highlighted and circled somewhere, it's like all over the place ... maybe it's in this pocket" at 4:20), to the awkward fake laughter while joking with the adults in the stands (asking Vice President Joe Biden if he wants to put pads on and get out there 0:55).
