Police say the two racked up more than $3K in charges on her credit cards

Philadelphia police are seeking this woman and her male companion after they allegedly stole an elderly woman's purse in Northeast Philadelphia and proceeded to rack up more than $3,500 in charges on the victim's credit cards.

Philadelphia police are seeking the public's help identifying a couple who, police said, stole from a 78-year-old woman in Northeast Philadelphia and racked up more than $3,500 in charges on the woman's credit cards. 

According to police, the couple, who can be seen in surveillance footage, robbed the woman on Friday, Oct. 2, at about 6:55 p.m. as she shopped at a Kohl's store located at 8500 Henry Ave. in the Andorra section of the city

While the senior citizen shopped, police said she was distracted by the wanted male while the female took her wallet, which contained identification and credit cards, from her pocketbook. 

That same day, just an hour later, police said the same individuals were captured on surveillance video at several locations using the victim's credit cards to make fraudulent purchases of electronics and gift cards totaling $3,512.75.

Police said the couple were seen on video three times using the victim's credit card. Police said that at 7:51 p.m., they were caught on camera at the Macy's department store located at 2399 Cottman Ave. Then, at 8:14 p.m. and again at 8:26 p.m., police said they used the victim's credit card at the Wawa located at 7101 Roosevelt Blvd.
