"The Simpsons" might be taking a summer hiatus, but that didn’t stop the show from getting in a quick dig at Donald Trump – and Gov. Chris Christie – in a two-minute political campaign ad that seems to suggest the creators are "with her."

In the clip, released on Saturday, Homer and Marge are in bed when they flip on the TV to a campaign ad presenting them with a quandary:

"'It's 3 a.m. and the phone's ringing in the White House. Who do you want answering that call?”

The ad then turns to animated cartoons of the respective presidential nominees answering the call – with the bulk of the humor aimed at Trump, the Republican nominee for president.

"The Simpsons" also takes a poke at New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who has been tapped to lead Trump's campaign transition team, by showing Trump ordering Christie to "eat a worm, just for laughs."

It ends with Homer saying, “and that’s how I became a Democrat."

As Rolling Stone points out, this isn't the first time "The Simpsons" has mocked Trump. In July 2015, Homer took a "Trumptastic Voyage" through the thick of Trump's hair.
