Police: South Jersey woman sold tickets to fake Sheryl Crow concert

Police say a Burlington County concert promoter was arrested Saturday on charges that she was selling tickets to a fake Sheryl Crow concert at the Flying W Airport in Medford in August, the Burlington County Times reports.

Kelly Bryan, 42, of Burlington Township, who runs the event promotion business KBR Promotions LLC, was arrested and charged with theft by deception and deceptive business practice.

Bryan had sold as many as 300 tickets and booked about a dozen paid vendors for a fabricated Aug. 15 concert at the airport, police told the Burlington County Times. 

There has yet to be an official statement on whether refunds will be made.

Bryan was arrested Saturday and was taken to the Burlington County Minimum Security Facility in Pemberton Township on $100,000 bail. She is expected to make her first appearance in Superior Court in Mount Holly on Monday afternoon, according to the Burlington County Times.
