According to prosecutors, 23-year-old Craig McCargo was arrested on narcotics and weapons charges after investigators executed a search warrant on his N. Evergreen Ave. apartment that led to the seizure of marijuana, heroin, drug paraphernalia, a semi-automatic handgun, and $2,837 in cash.

As a result of the investigation, McCargo has been charged with possession of heroin, distribution of less than one-half ounce of heroin on diverse dates, distribution of heroin in a school zone, distribution of heroin in the vicinity of a public park, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon by a convicted person.

McCargo was issued a Drug Offender Restraining Order (DORO) that bars him from entering the Woodlake apartment complex where he resides in Woodbury. He was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff's Department with bail set at $100,000 cash.
