Grieving is never easy, but WXPN 88.5 is making the first anniversary of David Bowie's death a little bit easier.
The member-supported, public radio station is playing everything Bowie, including "hits, deep cuts, live tracks and more" from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to the station's music blog, "The Key."
Even the station's children's program, "Kids Corner," will be paying homage. "Kids Corner" will play songs from "Let All the Children Boogie: A Tribute to David Bowie," an album that features interpretations of the star's music and benefits the It Gets Better project, which aims to help LGBTQ youth.

The city is also celebrating Bowie's life with its "Philly Loves Bowie" weeklong celebration, which continues until Saturday. Bars, venues and organizations – including Johnny Brenda's and The Free Library of Philadelphia – will be holding events to pay homage to the artist.
Bowie died last year after an 18-month battle with cancer.
When the week's over, try not to be too sad. Philadelphians will always to be able to say they're from a city where "David Live" and "Young Americans" were recorded.
