July 29, 2016
Fans of old-school cars will want to head to the 2016 Eastwood Summer Classic on July 30. More than 500 classic cars (and trucks and motorcycles) will be on display at the Pottstown Municipal Airport. Admission into the car fest, which begins at 8 a.m., is free for spectators.
The family-friendly festival will also feature hundreds of live demos with experts from Eastwood, a DIY automotive solution company. Plus, there will be music, food, competitions and a "muffler rally" — the louder, the better.
Possibly the most fun activity at the festival, however, is "the mechanical bull for cars." Automobiles get put onto the teeter-totter to see how well they would hold up in severe terrain.
Below is a video from last year's event that shows off the variety of cars attendees can expect to see:
The event benefits Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
