Philadelphia police are investigating the armed robbery and sexual assault of a female Temple University student, the university said in an alert to students on Twitter Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred south of campus on the 1400 block of Carlisle St. 6ABC reports the assault and robbery happened around midnight.
According to police, the suspect was armed. Further details were not immediately released.
Temple has asked that anyone who notices suspicious activity call (215) 204-1234.
The incident remains under investigation.
