Armed suspect enters Temple University off-campus fraternity house, robs student inside

Temple sent out an alert around 2:45 a.m. warning others about the incident

A Temple student returned from a late night of studying to find an armed suspect rummaging through his off-campus fraternity house, NBC10 reports.

The incident occurred at around 2 a.m. Thursday at a house along West Diamond Street, near 17th Street, a couple blocks north of campus. The fraternity was not identified.

Police told NBC10 the suspect allegedly demanded money from the student when the two came in contact, and when told the student had none on him, demanded his headphones and book bag instead.

Temple sent out an alert around 2:45 a.m. warning students about the incident.
