Many Philadelphia neighborhoods go all out at the holidays, creating spectacular presentations of lights and decorations. In South Philadelphia, neighbors pool resources to create amazing displays.

The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia's annual Holiday Light Ride will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

The group ride will loop through South Philly, where blocks go all-out with light displays.

Riders also are encouraged to get festive by dressing in costume and decorating their bikes with lights, bells, reindeer antlers, Santa hats, sparkles and stars.

At the end of the ride, the winner of the "Best Spirited Costume" will receive a gift card to Performance Bicycle. There also will be drinks and Baby Blues BBQ.
