Police say a 30-year-old man was shot and killed late Wednesday night inside a Frankford home where several children were present, CBSPhilly reports.

According to police, the victim was visiting the home at the time of the shooting.

Police told CBSPhilly that the suspect entered the unlocked home at around 10:30 p.m. and shot the victim several times, including at least once in the head.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. While it is thought that the victim may have been targeted, there is no official motive at this time, CBSPhilly reports.

Police say witnesses described the suspect as wearing a “dark jacket with white lettering on the front and back, wearing dark jeans and white sneakers, running east on Fillmore Street."

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
