Police: Couple tied up in South Philly home invasion

Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly broke into a South Philadelphia home early Monday, tied up the residents and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to CBSPhilly, the incident happened at around 1 a.m. Monday on the 1500 block of S. Marshall St. Police said the victims, a 65-year-old man and 55-year-old woman, were able to free themselves and alert police.

There has been no word on whether the victims knew the suspects, and there have been no arrests reported at this time.
