Carrying on Philadelphia’s centuries-old reputation as a great beer city, Yards Brewing Company attracts beer aficionados who appreciate high-quality, artisan brews.

The Yards Real Ale Invitational will return to Yards Brewing Co. on Sunday, May 1. During the all-day drinking event, more than 50 firkins of cask-conditioned beer will be available to try. Breweries from all over the world will be sharing their unfiltered, unpasteurized beer with Philly.

Cask ale lets beer carbonate naturally, instead of using nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure. Yards has its own cask ale, the Extra Special Ale.

Each guest at the event will receive a commemorative glass to drink from during the day. Besides a ton of beer, there will also be snacks and live music.

Tickets are $55 in advance or $65 at the door if tickets are still available.
