SEPTA Regional Rail train.

Construction of a substation at SEPTA's Jenkintown station will result in shuttle bus service replacing three early morning trains on the Airport Regional Rail Line at four stations for the next four weekends.

Trains scheduled to leave Glenside at 4:06 a.m., 4:36 a.m. and 5:06 a.m. are affected, but buses will depart 16 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled trains beginning Saturday and Sunday, and again on the weekends of March 5-6, 12-13 and 19-20.

Shuttle buses will pick up passengers at the Glenside station, the origin of the Airport Line, as well as the Jenkintown-Wyncote, Elkins Park and Melrose Park stations and then stop at the Fern Rock Transportation Center, where passengers will transfer to trains.

All trains will depart from Fern Rock Transportation Center for service to Center City and Airport Terminals at regularly scheduled times.

Printed schedules are available at Center City stations and online.

All other Airport Line trains will operate as regularly scheduled.

Shuttle bus boarding locations are noted in the supplemental timetables. The Jenkintown-Wyncote bus boarding location is near the gas station at Glenside and Greenwood avenues. Elkins Park and Melrose Park customers will board shuttle buses by the outbound parking lot.

Passengers should check www.septa.org or look for signs at stations for additional service and boarding information. Riders can also contact customer service representatives at 215-580-7800 for information and can stay connected by following the Airport Regional Rail Line on Twitter: @SEPTA_AIR.
