Free Library to host comic book workshop for teens

The Free Library of Philadelphia on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

On June 30, the Free Library of Philadelphia will host a comic book workshop for teens at the Parkway Central branch. During the class, lead by artistĀ Shawn Alleyne, teens will learn the basics for creating a comic.

The beginners workshop will focus onĀ story development, character design and building a unique universe for characters to interact within. Different creative exercises will be used to help budding comic book artists unleash their potential.

While the workshop is free, registration is required.
