Iron Hill to release Phightin’ Phils Pils

Watch the Phillies home opener with a beer inspired by the team

Fans take in a game at Citizens Bank Park.

All 12 Iron Hill Brewery locations will celebrate the Phillies home opener on April 7 with the release of the Phightin’ Phils Pils and a special menu of Phillies-inspired hot dogs.

Hot dogs will be $8 each, or guests can opt for The Double Play, which includes a hot dog and Phils Pils for $11.

Featured dogs, all beef and quarter pound, include:

• The Philly Phanatic Dog with mashed avocado, salsa verde and crema
• Harry the K Dog with ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles and Ore House IPA mustard
• The Schmitty 548 Dog with Vienna Red Lager cheese sauce, tri-colored peppers and onions and cherry pepper relish
• The Bull Luzinski Dog with beer-braised pulled pork, sweet mustard sauce and coleslaw
• The Krukker with beef chili, Vienna Red Lager cheese sauce and pickled jalapeños
• The Maikel Franko with applewood-smoked bacon, voodoo barbecue sauce and crispy onion strings
• The Charlie Hustle Dog with beer-bacon kraut, grilled onion relish and Ore House IPA mustard

As for the beer, it's a German-style pilsner brewed with traditional German noble hops.

The Phillies home opener, which starts at 3:05 p.m., will play on the bars' TVs.
