M. Night Shyamalan announced on Twitter that his latest film, “Glass,” concluded production this week. The director gave a special shout out to Philadelphia, where the film – like most of his projects – was shot.

“Glass” is the third installment of Shyamalan’s “Unbreakable” trilogy. Though “Unbreakable” hit theaters in 2000, its sequel, “Split,” wasn’t released until last year, and wasn’t even advertised as a sequel. The connection between the two films didn’t reveal itself until viewers were in theaters.
With “Glass,” Shyamalan took filming to both Philadelphia and parts of the Lehigh Valley. Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy will appear in the film.
Fans of “Unbreakable” will still have to wait a while before finding out the story’s next chapter. “Glass” will hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
