Man critically injured in fall during fight outside Feltonville Rite Aid

No charges as police seek to determine cause of fight

Philadelphia police are investigating to determine the cause of a fight that broke out in the parking lot of a Rite Aid store in Feltonville Sunday morning, leaving one man critically injured after he struck his head on the pavement.

According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot at 4500 North 5th Street, 6 ABC reports.

The fight, which involved three or four males, ended when one of them fell hard to the ground.

The 22-year-old victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition, while a second 17-year-old victim was taken to Temple to be treated for minor injuries.

No charges have been filed and an investigation is ongoing.
