Pennsylvania man charged with growing marijuana plants in N.J. state forest

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged with illegally cultivating 25 marijuana plants in the Wharton State Forest.

A spokesperson from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection told the Press of Atlantic City that Edward Green, 66, of Feasterville, was arrested on July 20 following a monthslong investigation that stemmed from an anonymous tip in May.

Green also faces distribution charges – a first-degree crime – and potential prison time of up to 20 years, NJ 101.5 adds.
