Police investigate Christmas morning tire slashings in Northeast Philly

Some Northeast Philly residents awoke Christmas morning to find gifts worse than lumps of coal had been left in their stockings.

These unwanted gifts didn't come from Santa Claus. They were delivered early Christmas morning by a vandal – or vandals – who slashed the tires of at least nine vehicles parked on the 900 block of Foulkrod Street in the Summerdale section of Northeast Philly.

Philadelphia police say the slashings happened between midnight and 2:30 a.m. Sunday, according to CBS3.

Investigators do not have any suspects, but a resident of the block told CBS3 they are reviewing footage recorded by neighbors' home security cameras.
