Jeffrey Gould, 33, of Bensalem.

Law enforcement officials in Warwick Township believe that the Bucks County community's first murder in 27 years was precipitated by a "love triangle," prosecutors announced at a news conference on Monday.

A shooting last Wednesday night left 33-year-old Edward Dubinsky dead on the porch of his home on the 2600 block of Virginia Lane, NBC10 reports. His body was not discovered until the following morning when a dog walker found the victim with a gunshot wound to his head.

On Monday, Warwick Police Chief Mark Goldberg and Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler announced that authorities are searching for 33-year-old Bensalem resident Jeffrey Gould, who allegedly shot Dubinsky over a longstanding romantic feud.

Police believe the two men were at odds about 30-year-old Zannatul "Asha" Naim, who at different points in time lived with each of them.

There was no immediate evidence of a specific event that led to Wednesday night's shooting. One neighbor reported hearing "a loud bang" at approximately 11:30 p.m. and another reported witnessing a white Mercedes leave the scene. Police tracked that vehicle to Naim, but added that it appears Gould swapped cars and left the state in a tan 2001 Chevy Silverado with a New Jersey tag YKD 24N.

Authorities said an arrest warrant for Gould was obtained after a witness in North Carolina, where Gould apparently fled, said Gould admitted to killing Dubinsky. Police are also hoping to speak with Naim, who is not facing charges in the shooting at this time.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gould and Naim is asked to contact authorities at 215-343-0100.
