The Haddon Foundation's "Betting on a Better Future" casino night fundraiser returns Oct. 7 with professional casino games, food, cocktails and entertainment at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees.
A night of casino games, food, cocktails and entertainment will help support a local nonprofit working to make the Social Security and disability benefits process easier for people who need it most.
The Haddon Foundation will host Betting on a Better Future, a Vegas-style casino night fundraiser, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees. Guests can enjoy professional gaming tables, dinner, cocktails, prizes and opportunities to connect with others while supporting the organization's mission. Tickets are on sale now.
The Haddon Foundation was created after its founder experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to help someone navigate the Social Security and disability benefits system. Long wait times, complicated paperwork and limited access to assistance can make the process especially challenging for older adults, people with disabilities and families already facing medical or financial hardships.
The nonprofit provides guidance, education and one-on-one support to help people better understand the benefits process and access the resources they have earned. Proceeds from Betting on a Better Future will help the organization continue building those services, including plans to hire a full-time advocate who can provide immediate assistance and ongoing support to people navigating the Social Security system.
Whether guests come for the gaming, the food or the chance to support a local cause, every ticket purchased helps the Haddon Foundation continue its mission of making a complicated process easier for people who may not have the resources or support to navigate it alone.
