Philadelphia police have taken a person of interest into custody after a gunman on a dirtbike opened fire Friday afternoon, fatally shooting a 22-year-old man in Kensington.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 5:25 p.m. at the corner of A and Somerset streets, NBC 10 reports. 

Police said the victim was standing at the Uceta Mini Market II when the suspect fired at least 12 rounds. The victim was struck twice in the chest and once in the stomach. He was rushed by police to Temple University, where he later died of his injuries. 

Officials are still looking for a second potential suspect in the shooting, but they remain uncertain about what motivated the attack.
