Police: Man's ear bitten off in argument over Trump

Officers recovered the ear and transported the victim to the hospital

A man reportedly lost an ear during an argument and altercation over President Donald Trump, the Pittsburgh police report. 

According to police, the suspect and victim became engaged in a heated debate over politics that turned physical. The incident occurred in an apartment in the city on Monday morning. 

The report goes on to say that the earless victim ran to a nearby gas station to seek help, which is where police and paramedics responded to and transported him to a nearby hospital, but not before picking up his ear at the apartment. 

The suspect, who is reportedly known to police, fled the scene. An investigation into the situation is ongoing.
