Police called to Trevose motel in mass after an officer attempting to serve a warrant was shot at.

A suspect is dead and two are in custody after a swarm of police officers responded to the Knights Inn in Trevose, Pa. where shots were fired at police.

The unfolding event began as cops attempted to serve a warrant suspects wanted for a parole violation, according to police.

Officials say officers were fired at when they entered a motel room, causing them to retreat and begin a barricade.

A video tweeted by Richard Larrimore showed multiple police cars with lights flashing right outside the building.

After a SWAT Team was able to regain access to the room, one suspect, 34-year-old Lloyd Wayne Franklin, was found dead with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to authorities.

The two other suspects in the room, Jennifer Lanning and James Miller, were arrested.

Miller was wanted in Pennsylvania for a parole violation and was taken to Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Lanning and Franklin were wanted for a homicide in North Carolina, and Bensalem police say they are working with authorities from the state in their investigation.
