Don't worry, Philadelphia sports fans, acclaimed sports writer Ray Didinger and his Eagles analysis aren't leaving town any time soon.

SportsRadio 94WIP announced Thursday that it has agreed to a new contract with the Pro Football Hall of Fame writer, who will also appear on Talk Radio WPHT with Chris Stigall on Fridays during football season.

Didinger told CBSPhilly:

“I’m delighted to continue my relationship with WIP. I’ve had a great time working with so many good friends, in particular Glen Macnow, my weekend partner for many years. I enjoy talking sports with the Philadelphia fans and I’m grateful to CBS RADIO Philadelphia for giving me that opportunity.”

The announcement comes days after the closing performance of "Tommy & Me" through FringeArts. The show, an autobiographical play written by Didinger, looks back at the writer's role in helping Tommy McDonald achieve his goal of making it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Theatre Exile raised more than $40,000 through Kickstarter to help fund the show.

Didinger's current show, co-hosted with Macnow, airs Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
