Surveillance video photograph shows suspect sought in connection with robbery of Haddonfield Rite Aid.
Authorities have released photos of and posted a reward for a suspect who robbed a Rite Aid for prescription drugs and then carjacked a priest in Haddonfield, New Jersey on Tuesday.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is offering $5000 for information leading to the arrest of a man jumped over the pharmacy counter of the Rite Aid on 700 block of Haddon Avenue around noon, wielding a firearm and demanding the prescription drugs Adderall and oxycodone.
The suspect, after receiving an undisclosed amount of Adderall, went to the parking lot where he carjacked a priest. He then drove a block before exiting the vehicle and fleeing on foot.
The man is described as a white male, standing between 6'0" and 6'2" and weighing about 200 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a long yellow rain jacket, yellow reflective vest, hooded sweatshirt, black mask and white hardhat at the time of the robbery.
Police believe the suspect may be the same man who robbed a Rite Aid in Logan Township, Gloucester County, who was wearing similar attire in a surveillance image following the robbery.
The suspect was seen measuring trees near the store prior to the building. No injuries were reported from the incident.
