Witness say female victim was forced into a green Toyota Camry

Philadelphia police are seeking assistance from the public to locate a woman who may have been abducted Friday morning in North Philadelphia.

Authorities received reports of an abduction around 8:45 a.m. on the 900 block of Luzerne Street, according to CBS 3.

Investigators learned from witnesses that a crying woman was coerced into a vehicle after telling a suspect that she didn't want to get in the car. She reportedly attempted to exit the vehicle and walk away, but the suspect forced her back inside before fleeing from the scene.

Officials described the suspect as a black male in his early twenties with a thin build and short hair. He was driving a green Toyota Camry with a Pennsylvania tag of KBL-137.

The victim was described as a black woman in her mid to late twenties and was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, jeans, a fitted T-shirt, and pink sneakers. She was carrying a light-colored pocketbook.
